In a groundbreaking collaboration, The Last of Us™ franchise would be embarking on it's very first spirits partnership with the world renowned whisky maker, Pernod Ricard. The result is a brand new whiskey for the market – named Moth & Wolf Blended Scotch Whiskey. As the point-of-contact for the partnership, handled everythign from conception and creative direction, to brand adherence, and go-to-market strategy and assets. From start to finish, the project timeline was 2 years and arrived right in time for Season 1 of the HBO series of the same name.
In celebration of the launch and partnership, we coordinated a IRL surprise fan event in Seattle, the backdrop of the second game of the franchise, with a exclusive and limited whisky tasting with the whisky tastemaster leading the experience. In addition, as a thank you to the fans, we surprised those with a exclusive private concert and signing with the voice actor of Joel, Troy Baker, and the Game Director and Creator, Neil Druckmann.
